Strategies:While dueling in a javelin (jav) there are a few important factors to consider before you bomb or bullet. They are: your energy, the enemy's energy, your chances of hitting, and your chances of dodging if you miss.
Predicting your enemy's energy is very useful in a duel. In many cases it will determine if you bomb or bullet. If the enemy is low in energy (500 or less) than I would suggest bulleting if your chances of hitting are high. Also always keep in mind your chances of dodging if you miss. There are many players that shoot when their chances of hitting are low. This is ok if you have a high chance of dodging, however, it may be better to wait until you have a higher chance of hitting.Be patient. I have seen many duels were the winner is the one that was patient and conservative.
