If you are new to the zone I suggest not using a levi. It has the most powerful bombs in the game, which, if not careful can lead to many team kills (tks). If you want to use it I suggest to find a willing terrier (terr) and go on a private frequency (freq).
Strategies:The leviathan (levi) can be very useful in pub. It has very powerful bombs that can easily clear any entire flag room (fr). In the spawn area the levi is pretty defenseless. It can warp once, has 1 repel (rep) and a rocket but is very slow which makes it an easy target. This is a problem because a levi must have 20 bounty before it can attach to a terrier (terr). You get bounty by killing enemy ships and your bounty resets to 3 when you die. So staying alive long enough to get 20 can be difficult. Try making your way to a safe (located at the bottom, left and right of the map). Then from that safe randomly shoot bombs toward base. This may result in some team kills (tks) but you will get 20 bounty this way.
Many levis also like to stay attached (press F7 when you have the terrs name ticked) to a terr and use them as transportation. If the terr is good, the two of them can last for quite some time before they die (if they die). This is called a leviterr.
