The Spider (spid) is a good ship for players that have tried the warbird and want something a little different. The spid is able to shoot multiple times in a row which is good for newer players.
Strategies:Using a spid in pub is an easy way to get some kills. One thing to remember is you can die in 1 hit but you have to hit them 3-4 times before they die. This means you have to be able to aim. Try waiting for your enemy to shoot, then rush in and take an easy kill. Of course this only works if you are confident with your dodging skills.
When against another spider watch your energy usage. Instead of shooting all your energy, try using small burst (2-3 bullets). If a couple of these bullets hit, shoot a couple more bullets. If these miss back off and try again.
